Users of new version of GIS PANORAMA may now download georeferenced space images of very high spatial resolution (up to 50 cm) from WorldView-1,2 and QuickBird satellites from the DigitalGlobe company’s archive right away to the user’s GIS. This opportunity is provided by the unique GIS amplification – ImageConnect.
GIS PANORAMA – is a product line from KB PANORAMA Company, that allows creating and editing electronic maps, making various measures and calculations, making 3D models, processing raster data, preparing graphic soft and hard documents, performing thematic projects (pic.1) based on spatial data. New version of KB PANORAMA is available for downloading at the company’s web site in the section “Download”, the link: http://www.gisinfo.ru/download/download.htm.

The supplemented ImageConnect service let the users of GIS “Map 2011” to display remote sensing data immediately in the GIS-project in the automatically transformed projection (marked in the program when choosing data). Using ImageConnect GIS amplification enables to reduce value or RS data and avoid expenses for their archivation (Pic.2).

To activate ImageConnect service in GIS PANORAMA, please send your request for the access key via bottom “ImageConnect activation” to SOVZOND specialists (Pic.3).

ImageConnect service apart from GIS PANORAMA is also supported in ArcGIS, MapInfo Professional and other applications.
